Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accountant in Moreno Valley, California, 92557, United States. As an integral part of our Customer Services industry team, you will be responsible for various accounting functions and tasks, including the efficient processing of credit applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. Responsibilities: Conduct monthly closure of accounts, ensuring all financial data is accurately recorded Handle deposit reconciliation tasks, verifying all financial transactions are correctly documented Perform bank reconciliation activities, ensuring the accuracy of bank statements and financial reports Monitor and process purchase card transactions, verifying all transactions are legitimate and correctly recorded Process monthly billing, ensuring all invoices are accurately generated and sent out in a timely manner Utilize Accounting Software Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning tools for efficient and accurate accounting functions Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable tasks, ensuring all financial transactions are correctly documented and processed Conduct auditing activities, verifying the accuracy of financial statements and ensuring compliance with financial regulations Perform balance sheet account reconciliation tasks, ensuring all financial data is accurately recorded and reconciled Conduct credit card and expense reconciliation activities, verifying all transactions are legitimate and correctly documented. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Experience with ADP - Financial Services Knowledge of Cl Programming Familiarity with Concur Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning Ability to perform Accounting Functions Proficient in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Auditing skills Experience with Balance Sheet Account Proficiency in Account Reconciliation Familiarity with Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation Experience in Balance Sheet Reconciliation Knowledge of Bank Account Reconciliation Proficiency in performing Bank Reconciliations Experience with Credit Card Reconciliation Ability to handle Expense Reconciliation Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field required Strong organizational and analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving abilities.
