Accountant - Entry Level

Description We are seeking an entry-level Accountant to join our team in the Investment Management industry. This role is based in Los Angeles, California, and offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for data entry of invoices and other accounting entries. While an accounting degree is not mandatory, you should be familiar with full-cycle accounting.Responsibilities: Accurate data entry of invoices and other accounting entries. Assist with full-cycle accounting, including account reconciliations and month-end close processes. Collaborate with the director of accounting to identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues. Maintain and update financial records and reports. Assist with other accounting projects as needed. Ensure compliance with accounting and financial regulations. Support the team with ad-hoc tasks related to accounting. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the accounting department. Liaise with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
