Accounting Assistant

Description Robert Half is looking for an Accounting Assistant to join a fast-growing company. As the Accounting Assistant you will provide daily support to the finance and accounting departments with bookkeeping and accounting tasks. The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for reconciling bank records, drafting financial documents, invoicing customers, and collecting payments. If you have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy, this is the Accounting Assistant opportunity for you!Your responsibilities

Perform administrative duties as necessary

Responsible for organizing the bookkeeping processes of the company

Reconcile financial books by working with incoming and outgoing funds

Engage with clients as necessary via email and phone

Evaluate financial budgets and track expenses

Help with editing and creating financial documents for the Accounting team

Own daily accounting duties such as Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and payroll, payroll tax filings, booking journal entries, reconciling credit card and bank account Requirements - Must be highly skilled in time management and have verbal and written communication skills

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field of study preferred

Prior bookkeeping experience preferred

Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as high attention to detail

Intermediate knowledge of spreadsheet applications

1+ years of experience working in accounting
