Accounting Clerk

Description We are in search of an Accounting Clerk to join our operations in the manufacturing industry based in south Orange County. This role is crucial in maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. You will be working in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and accuracy is paramount. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Accurately process customer credit applications and maintain precise records Ensure efficient data entry for cash receipts, payables, and disbursements Manage and reconcile accounts payable and receivable Handle billing processes and invoice processing with precision Utilize software such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting tasks Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action for account discrepancies Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and reports Collaborate with the team to streamline accounting processes and procedures Resolve customer inquiries timely and accurately Adhere to the industry standards and company procedures in all accounting tasksRequirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) Knowledge of Billing processes Proficiency in Data Entry tasks Experience in Invoice Processing Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience with Oracle software Familiarity with QuickBooks software Experience with SAP software Previous experience in a manufacturing industry is preferred Excellent organizational and multitasking skills Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of general accounting principles and regulations Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
