Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in the manufacturing industry, located in Ontario, California. This role revolves around managing accounting tasks for our corrugated manufacturing plant. You will be processing customer credit applications, maintaining accurate records, and resolving customer inquiries, among other responsibilities. Responsibilities: Processing Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) for the manufacturing plant Managing full-cycle AP, including 3-way matching of invoices Creating daily invoices and posting cash transactions Conducting soft collection calls and working from the aging report Utilizing basic Excel skills and previous experience with in-house systems for data entry and invoice processing Performing account reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance Utilizing QuickBooks, SAP, and other accounting software to streamline processes Maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work Ensuring compliance with all internal and external audit requirements Collaborating with the team to improve and streamline the accounting process. Requirements Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within the manufacturing industry Proficient in account reconciliation, ensuring that all financial records are accurate Experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), including processing and management Ability to handle billing tasks, including preparing and sending invoices to clients Proficient in data entry with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Experience in invoice processing, ensuring all invoices are accurate and processed in a timely manner Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis Experience with QuickBooks for managing and processing financial data Knowledge of SAP for managing business operations and customer relations Strong ethical standards, with a commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive financial information Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with other departments and clients Strong organizational skills, with an ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines A proactive problem solver, able to identify issues and implement effective solutions Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred.
