Description The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting, bookkeeping, and financial tasks. This role requires someone with strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, including verifying, posting, and reconciling invoices and payments.

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.

Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.

Support month-end and year-end close processes by preparing journal entries and assisting with financial reports.

Maintain and update accounting databases and software systems.

Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports as needed.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial data.

Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and answering queries related to financial information.

Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and information.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred.

2+ years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
