Accounting Manager

Description Robert Half Management Resources is recruiting for a strong Accounting Manager to support our growing cosmetics company client on a 3-4 month primarily on-site project in Oxnard. As a company that sells via online/direct to consumer, in retail stores, as well as on Amazon, our client requires a professional who is experienced in managing financial systems in varied sales platforms.Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee daily operations of the accounting department including:

Month and year-end processes

Accounts payable/receivable

Cash receipts

General ledger

Revenue and expenditure variance analysis

Capital assets reconciliations

Trust account statement reconciliations

Fixed asset activity

Debt activity

Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.

Inventory reporting

Coordinate and complete upcoming audit.

Handle accounting projects and present suggestions for improvement.

Supervise the input and handling of financial data and reports ensuring compliance with company's financial systems and procedures.

Requirements

Proven working experience as an Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager

Advanced computer skills on Microsoft Office, accounting software and databases

Experience with NAV or similar ERP required

Ability to manipulate large amounts of data

Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations

High attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to direct and supervise
