Accounting Specialist

Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity in the agriculture industry, based in Fresno, California, for a proficient Accounting Specialist. This role involves a broad range of accounting functions, with a particular focus on maintaining accurate financial records and processing customer transactions. Responsibilities: Execute various accounting functions with precision and efficiency Manage and maintain accurate records of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Conduct auditing tasks to ensure financial compliance and accuracy Handle billing functions and resolve any discrepancies promptly Operate ADP - Payroll system for accurate and timely payroll processing Utilize QuickBooks Online for financial management and reporting Interact with customers to address inquiries and resolve issues related to their accountsRequirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role Proficiency in accounting functions and financial management Demonstrable experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) Experience in auditing and compliance with financial regulations Familiarity with billing functions and invoice management Proficiency in using ADP for payroll processing Experience in using Quickbooks Online for financial tasks Knowledge of the agriculture industry would be an advantage Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
