Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in San Mateo, California. Serving in the Financial Services industry, this role involves handling customer applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving inquiries. The successful candidate will also monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions.Responsibilities: Manage the processing of customer credit applications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency Maintain up-to-date and precise customer credit records Review and categorize credit card transactions on a weekly basis Handle customer inquiries and provide prompt responses Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on account status Communicate effectively with the management team and colleagues Utilize Netsuite CRM for various tasks as required Ensure accurate data entry and review of accounts payable invoices and credit card transactions Process invoices by dragging and dropping into the appropriate folder Maintain the automated processes and intervene only when necessary. Requirements Possess at least one year of experience in an Accounts Payable role within the Financial Services industry Proficient in using Accounts Payable (AP) software Demonstrated skills in Data Entry Experience in Invoice Processing is essential Familiarity with Netsuite CRM software is a plus Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Must possess a high degree of integrity and confidentiality Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word Ability to work independently and as part of a team Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred but not required.
