Accounts Payable Clerk

Description A manufacturing company in Santa Clarita is looking for an accounts payable clerk to help the team. You will be responsible for high volume invoice processing and will work closely with the assistant controller. This position is FULLY ONSITE! Duties include:Handling high volumes of vendor invoices.Resolving vendor payment discrepancies.Reconciling vendor statements regularly.Managing departmental mail and approvals.Drive process improvements to boost efficiency.Executing weekly payment runs.Backing up other department members as required.Undertaking additional duties as needed.Requirements Ideal candidate will have:High school diploma.A fundamental understanding of accounting.2-3 years Accounts Payable experience, preferably with SAP.Swift and meticulous data entry skills.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.Strong verbal communication skills.Flexibility to work overtime if needed.Ability to tackle multiple tasks and priorities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
