Accounts Payable Clerk (No Experience Required)

Description A company that we are working with is an industry-leading organization based in Solana Beach that never ceases to provide an optimal working space for all. We are seeking an entry-level AR Clerk to join our passionate accounting team. No previous experience is required. Training will be provided to ensure an understanding of the company systems and policies.Responsibilities:

Process invoices and billing statements

Maintain and update customer files

Track deposits and payments

Follow up on delinquent payments

Prepare weekly receivables reports

Perform credit checks and set up new customer accounts

Post customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions

Resolve valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field

Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong organization skills

Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information

Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning financial and customer files
