Description We are offering an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client's team in Brea. In this role, you will be handling high volume accounts payable tasks. This is a Hybrid role.Responsibilities: Manage the accurate and timely payment of assigned vendors in compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as government laws and regulations Accumulate the necessary payment documents, reviewing them for completeness and accuracy, and ensuring the payment of the verified documents Prepare month and year end accruals relating to assigned vendors Understand and adhere to departmental policies, processes, and procedures Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies in vendor payments Maintain a strong understanding of SAP software for accounts payable tasks Monitor and track vendor payment schedules and obligations Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of accounts payable related accounts Coordinate with other departments to resolve account payable issues and ensure smooth inter-departmental transactions.Requirements Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a high volume Accounts Payable Specialist role Experience with SAP or similar ERP software Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in entering financial data Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Good communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines Proficiency in Excel, including Pivot TablesRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
