Accounts Payable Specialist

Description On behalf of our client, an aerospace manufacturer located in Brea, we are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing and maintaining customer accounts, and working effectively with internal and external customers. Responsibilities:

Review and verify invoices and check requests.

Sort, code, and match invoices.

Set invoices up for payment.

Enter and upload invoices into system.

Track expenses and process expense reports.

Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.

Prepare and perform check runs.

Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records.

Reconcile accounts payable transactions.

Prepare analysis of accounts.

Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.

Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.

Maintain vendor files.

Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries.

Produce monthly reports.

Assist with month-end closing.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes Experience with Accrual Accounting Familiarity with Syteline ERP is a HUGE plus Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information Ability to work well with others in a team-oriented environment.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
