Accounts Receivable Clerk

Description This Accounts Receivable (A/R) position is an opportunity to grow with a thriving company. This dynamic organization has an Accounts Receivable position with a noteworthy benefits package, available through Robert Half. This permanent opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk is in the Sherman Oaks, California area. Entering, posting and reconciling batches, researching and resolving customer A/R issues, preparing aging reports, placing billing and collection calls, maintaining cash receipts journal, and updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L will be essential for this role.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Bank Deposits

a. Scan deposits to bank

b. Send scan to outside processing company

c. Inter-account transfers

New Leases/Addendums/Amendments/Abstracting/Tenant Adjustments

a. Input Lease information into AppFolio

Rental Increase & Fees

a. CPI Calculations

b. Rent control charges and fees

c. CAM reconciliation and increases

Prepare and send tenant bill backs and invoices

Prepaid rent allocation

Check bank for ACH deposits and send to processing center

Process move-outs

Other miscellaneous assignments

Requirements

Cam Reconciliation experience required

Comprehensive knowledge of Commercial Property Management

Skilled with ERP systems

2+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable

Proven analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy

Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
