Accounts Receivable Clerk

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a meticulous Accounts Receivable Clerk in the agriculture industry. The role is based in Bakersfield, California and will involve handling accounts receivable tasks, with a strong emphasis on reconciliation. Responsibilities: Handle multiple invoices, ensuring accurate and efficient weekly reconciliation of accounts. Work collectively with the Accounts Receivable Team to keep invoicing as current as possible. Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Cash Collections, Commercial Collections, Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, Accounts receivables systems, and Daily Reconciliation. Diligently contribute to the team to handle the heavy volume of work.Requirements Proven experience in an Accounts Receivable role, preferably within the Agriculture industry Proficient knowledge of account reconciliation and accounts receivable systems Previous experience with billing processes and cash collections Experience in commercial collections Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel Familiarity with Oracle and QuickBooks accounting software Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems Ability to perform daily reconciliation tasks Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferable Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
