Accounts Receivable Clerk

Description We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable/Billing Specialist to join our team on a temporary to hire basis. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Excel, particularly with large data sets, and a solid understanding of billing and accounts receivable processes. Generate and send out invoices to clients accurately and timely.

Manage and reconcile accounts receivable balances.

Process and apply payments to customer accounts.

Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices and past due accounts.

Prepare and analyze accounts receivable aging reports.

Assist in month-end closing activities related to billing and accounts receivable.

Handle customer inquiries and resolve billing discrepancies.

Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.

Requirements

Proven experience in accounts receivable or billing roles.

Intermediate proficiency in Excel, especially with large data sets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

High level of integrity and confidentiality.

Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
