Accounts Receivable Clerk

Description About the PositionOur client in the automotive industry, based in Oceanside, is seeking a dedicated Accounts Receivable Clerk. As an integral part of the finance team, this role will involve managing receivable accounts, maintaining financial records, and performing various administrative tasks. Accounts Receivable Management: Oversee and process incoming payments, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of customer billing information, correspondence, invoices, and payment receipts.

Accounts Reconciliation: Reconcile any discrepancies or errors identified by reconciling customer accounts and managing monthly account statements.

Reporting: Generate financial reports relating to accounts receivable and present them to management.

Customer Service: Liaise with customers to address and resolve billing and payment issues.

Administrative Support: Assist with general administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma; further education in Finance or Accounting is a plus.

Prior experience in a similar role in accounts receivable or general finance.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with exceptional skills in Excel.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work well in a team environment.
