Description We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk with strong analytical abilities to join our growing client on a temporary-to-hire basis. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, monitoring customer accounts, and analyzing data to ensure efficient cash flow management. This role offers the opportunity for long-term employment based on performance during the temporary period.Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and distribute accurate invoices to customers in a timely manner.

Verify pricing, terms, and other billing details to ensure accuracy.

Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to invoicing promptly.

Monitor and track customer accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.

Communicate with customers regarding overdue balances, payment arrangements, and any billing inquiries.

Process customer payments, apply credits, and reconcile discrepancies.

Utilize analytical skills to review accounts and identify trends in payment patterns.

Perform aging analysis to categorize and prioritize collection efforts for overdue accounts.

Collaborate with the finance team to develop strategies for improving cash flow.

Generate regular reports on accounts receivable status, collections progress, and aging analysis.

Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to enhance collection efforts.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer transactions, interactions, and payment history.

Organize and file financial documents in compliance with company policies and procedures.

Address customer inquiries and concerns related to accounts receivable in a professional manner.

Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance accounts receivable processes.

Propose and implement process improvements that contribute to greater efficiency and accuracy.

High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred.

Proven experience in accounts receivable, billing, or related finance roles.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.

Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel for data analysis.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping and data entry.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently within established deadlines.

Customer-focused attitude with the ability to handle sensitive customer interactions.

Problem-solving skills to address billing discrepancies and payment issues.

Familiarity with basic accounting principles and practices.

Adaptability and willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic work environment.
