Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description

Conducting detailed investigations of overdue invoices by communicating effectively with customers via phone, email, fax or mail.

Ensuring accurate and timely posting and coding of customer payments.

Reviewing and verifying invoices, and ensuring prompt routing to the proper departments.

Conducting account reconciliation periodically, identifying discrepancies, and resolving any billed issues.

Preparing monthly financial and management reports.

Participating in month-end closing and auditing tasks.

Following up on outstanding debts.

Maintaining accurate records of customer's financial information.

Providing excellent customer service to enhance customer experience.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant field.

Proven work experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk.

Proficiency in MS Office, with excellent knowledge of Excel and accounting software.

Strong understanding of billing and financial concepts.

Excellent organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Strong numerical skills and data entry management.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.

Ability to work independently and within a team.
