Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description We are offering a long-term contract opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in South Gate, California. In this role, you will be mainly responsible for managing and maintaining our accounts receivable systems, ensuring the accurate processing of customer credit applications, and providing a robust and efficient billing service. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software systems and a comprehensive understanding of accounts receivable functions.Responsibilities Oversee and manage the processing of customer credit applications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Utilize accounting software systems to maintain accurate customer credit records. Use Microsoft Excel and Office Suites to compile, analyze and present data related to accounts receivable. Handle accounts receivable functions, including billing, cash activity, and check processing. Respond to and resolve customer inquiries related to their credit applications and accounts. Monitor customer accounts regularly and take appropriate action when necessary. Ensure the smooth running of all accounts receivable systems. Utilize your accounting functions skills to maintain and improve our financial processes and procedures.
