Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description As a thriving construction firm, we are currently looking for an organized and diligent Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our dynamic team. This is a contract-to-hire role offering an immediate start date. Ideal candidate will have prior experience in a manufacturing or construction industry, possess strong accounts receivable and billing skills, show a deep understanding of the industry or a desire to learn. Previous experience with SAP is preferred but not essential.Responsibilities:

Ensuring accuracy of all billing information and systems

Support collection efforts and accounts receivable recovery

Recording and reconciling financial transactions, verifying and documenting business transactions

Collaborating with other accounting staff members and internal teams to ensure financial accuracy for clients

Analyzing financial reports for discrepancies and reconciliation of differences

Processing invoices and resolving customer related situations as needed

Maintaining thorough documentation records and controls to ensure accuracy of all transactions

Requirements

Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or similar role

Experience in manufacturing or construction industry is preferred

Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations

Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records

Proficiency in MS Office and experience with SAP will be a plus

High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
