Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description Robert Half is partnered with a very successful and busy construction and manufacturing company in El Cajon to fill a contract-to-hire Project Billing Specialist. This person will have a strong billing and accounts receivable background, ideally within manufacturing, but not required. We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in the construction and contractor industry. Based in EL CAJON, California, this role will involve managing accounts receivable, processing invoices, and maintaining accurate financial records.This is an immediate, urgent, Billing and Accounts Receivable position. If you have experience handling billing within a construction or manufacturing organization, please apply today!Responsibilities: Oversee and manage accounts receivable Generate preliminary notices, releases, and mechanics liens Produce aging reports and invoices for projects and deliveries Set up new jobs in the system, ensuring payment terms and contracts are complete Verify contracts are billed correctly and timely Manage insurance certifications and invoicing tasks Follow up on outstanding accounts and perform light collections duties Handle multiple active contracts simultaneously Utilize software systems such as Excel, Procore, Textura for various accounting functions Check processing and managing cash activity.Requirements Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems is required Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is beneficial Experience with CRM tools is necessary Knowledge of Epic Software is desirable Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is required Competence in Accounting Functions is necessary Expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential Experience in Billing Functions is preferred Familiarity with Cash Activity management is beneficial Proficiency in Check Processing is desirable Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
