Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in San Jose, California. This role is vital to our financial operations, requiring the ability to handle customer credit applications, maintain customer records, resolve inquiries, and monitor customer accounts. The position is situated in the financial industry, particularly focusing on accounts receivable and various accounting software systems.Responsibilities: Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner. Maintain and update customer credit records to ensure accurate data. Utilize various accounting software systems to manage customer accounts. Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally, providing exceptional customer service. Handle cash activity and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly. Collaborate with the financial services team to ensure all accounts receivable are accounted for. Use CRM and Epic Software to track customer interactions and transactions. Leverage Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to streamline accounting functions. Conduct regular reviews of customer accounts to identify and address any issues. Manage billing functions, ensuring all invoices are sent out and payments are received on time.
