We are a team of diverse engineers coming together to create prototypes of innovative audio technologies and guiding their implementation into client’s products. We work openly and collaboratively throughout client’s deeply-connected engineering and product development teams. We are looking for a Acoustic Technologist to help to take our products to the next level. Could this be you?Key QualificationsExperience working with audio signal processing, signal extraction, time-frequency analysis and algorithm prototyping/development.Experience working with acoustic feature extraction and machine learning models Experience working with time series analysis of unstructured data Good understanding of DSP and filtering techniques. e.g band pass filtering, wavelet transform, FFT analysis etc Proficiency with acoustic measurements of speakers and microphonesProficiency in Matlab, Python, Max-MSP toolsUnderstanding of physical/room acoustics is a plus C coding skills are a plusExperience shipping high-complexity, high-volume consumer electronics is desiredDescription The primary activity of the Acoustic Technologist is to develop signal processing techniques to extract and enhance acoustic signals inside and outside on the audible range. Candidate in this role will be working with various sensor extracted signals to combine information for processing and analysis. Activities will include (but not be limited to) preprocessing, prototyping & evaluation of DSP/acoustic features for signal extraction, algorithm prototyping. You will work with multi-functional teams to optimize and improve algorithms across various sensors and prototypes. In this role you will be able to experiment with sensor fusion methods to design the optimal signal processing chain for maximizing performance.
