Description We are seeking an Administrative Coordinator based in Carpinteria, California. The role involves a variety of administrative tasks, including coordinating onboarding processes for new employees, overseeing departmental contracts, and managing events. This role requires a high level of organization and communication skills, and offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the onboarding process for new departmental employees, including staff and faculty Conduct regular reviews of task areas and job descriptions for supervised staff members Support Core Faculty search committee activities, including organizing and distributing application materials Oversee departmental contracts and maintain electronic files of all generated contracts Process and approve faculty timecards, travel reimbursements, and adjunct faculty admissions activity timesheets Track department purchases and expense reports Work with Department Co-Chairs to coordinate departmental curriculum assignments for faculty and guest speakers Coordinate departmental student and faculty events, including orientations, BBQs, and celebratory evenings Provide support and training for departmental faculty and staff as neededRequirements Understanding of CRM systems for customer relationship management Proficiency in Calendar Management Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal Experience of working with C-Suite executives Demonstrated ability in providing Administrative Assistance Proficient in Data Entry, with a high level of accuracy Excellent Customer Service skills Ability to Coordinate Meetings, including scheduling, setting agendas, and minute taking.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
