Description We are seeking a Legal Administrative Support Clerk to join our professional services team in Glendale, California. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity where you will be tasked with various administrative duties. Our Legal Administrative Assistant will be responsible for handling tasks such as reception coverage, filing legal documents, and other clerical tasks as assigned. Canidates must be comfortable working a schedule of 7:30 am to 3:30pm of assigned. This role does not require law firm experience. Candidates should be eager to learn and comfortable working a collaborative team setting, while maintaining individual productivity.Responsibilities: Manage incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring all documents and packages are correctly routed Provide reception coverage, greeting visitors and handling incoming calls professionally Ensuring accurate record keeping Utilize digital printing and scanning equipment to manage and distribute documents Support the law and motion department with administrative tasks as needed Implement numeric and paper filing systems for efficient data management and retrieval Handle other administrative tasks as assigned to support the smooth operation of the office.Requirements Proficient in handling daily mail and delivery operations Experienced in filing tasks including numeric and paper filing Familiarity with digital printing processes Capable of scanning documents and organizing digital files Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced, professional environment Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge of legal terminology and documentation is a plus Previous experience in a similar role within the professional services industry would be advantageous Ability to work independently and as part of a team High school diploma or equivalent required, higher education or certifications in related field preferred Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions Excellent time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
