Description: Job Description: AEM and Java Senior Developer
Hybrid 3 days a week onsiteMorgan Stanley Wealth Management is looking for an experienced AEM and Java developer with significant experience and skills in Content Management Systems.This position is a senior hands-on, technical position. The ideal candidate will have a technical and architectural background with AEM. Additionally, the candidate will have a strong experience working on Java based applications. The candidate will also possess good communication and presentation skills along with troubleshooting skills.Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Act as the senior contributor in designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and supporting all types of applications consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver business value. Develop business solutions by creating new, and modifying existing, software applications. Design, estimate, document and deliver significant capabilities while effectively working across team boundaries. Utilize innovative approaches to solve complex technical problems and apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts to develop products. Manage, prioritize, and execute multiple concurrent software development project activities. Projects will involve working with offshore team members who work from different locations. Carry out the analysis of requirements, interact with product and business counterparts, mentor junior members in the team, conduct full lifecycle application development, utilize object-oriented Design and Analysis (OOA and OOD), perform software modeling and simulation, build proof of concept with newer technologies, and maintain code quality. Follow good software development practices (Functional specs, Design specs, Code reviews, Unit Test, Functional Test).Required Skills and Experience: 5-7 years of software engineering experience 3+ years of experience in programming using Adobe AEM and related technologies Strong understanding of the AEM application architecture Strong experience designing and building components, templates, dialogs, and workflows using the Adobe CQ/AEM architecture (Sling, CRX, OSGi, JCR). Experience in developing components using core frameworks i.e., OSGI, OAK, Granite Experience with headless CMS (AEM) applications using content fragment models or any custom solutions. 5+ years J2EE/Java experience Web Services, XML, XSL, REST, JSON, Excellent analytical ability, strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as organizational skills Ability to manage multiple high priority environments/projects simultaneously.Desired skills: Experience working on integrations with Adobe target and Adobe analytics is an added advantage.
