1: BS in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical or Civil)2: 9+ years of Aerospace structural analysis (7 with Masters)3: Structural analysis methods including large NASTRAN models of metallic and advanced composite structures4: Able to work a 9/80 work schedule

DESIRED (not required) SKILLS::: Stress Analysis, detailed hand analysis, FEM analysis (PATRAN/NASTRAN):: Layout sizing:: Durability and damage tolerance (DaDT) of aircraft structures:: Acoustic/dynamic evaluations

Duties and Responsibilities== Analyze, research and develop structural engineering specifications involving metals, non-metallic or composite structural materials for product design, or operation of product to include structures, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronics, power plant, armament, heating and ventilating, equipment and maintenance designs. == Analyze damage tolerance, durability, design allowables and structural modeling. == Specific structural engineering specialties may include dynamics and loads, stability and stress fatigue and thermal analysis. == Tools utilized may include CATIA, IDEAS, ProEngineer and a variety of software applications.
