What you’ll do:Work with the latest Android frameworks, design patterns, and technologiesInfluence the features and direction of the app with your own ideasDevelop Android applications using Kotlin and write your own APIs in GraphQLCollaborate with iOS, Web, and Backend engineering teamsEnsure high quality, performance, and responsiveness of the applicationImplement metrics and dashboards to empower data-driven decisionsWork cross-functionally with Product, Analytics, Design, Security, Data, Machine Learning, and other teamsWhat’s great about the role:Work directly with Product and Design teams to brainstorm new features and drive requirementsBuild member-facing experiences that impact millions of people’s financial healthInfluence the direction of the technological choices and design of the applicationWork directly with cross-functional engineering teams outside of AndroidMinimum Basic Requirement:Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent experienceAt least 3 years of industry work experience as an Android Engineer.Proficiency with Kotlin Preferred Qualifications:Familiarity with popular Android design patternsFamiliarity with functional and stateless programmingComfortable with data analytics, testing tools, and A/B testing methodologyExperience with iOS development, GraphQL, and/or TypeScript and JavaScriptExperience with the full software development life cycle and continuous integrationCustomer-focused and data-driven
