Summary:

We are looking for a hands-on Android Framework Engineer to help build the next generation AR/VR technology.

Required Skillset:

Android Kotlin Application Development.
Extensive experience coding in C/C, specific experience with Android Frameworks.
Experience in dealing with complex systems and codebases (AOSP, Android Makefile, Soong, HALs, etc).
Optimize Android system services and frameworks to run in a headless environment.
Native Android Framework, Native Android Services, Binder, JNI Knowledge
Strong Debugging and problem-solving skills.
Experience with Linux internals (process scheduler, memory management, concurrency, synchronization, memory allocation, file system, networking, storage, subsystem architecture).
Knowledge on Android AOSP, Init, System Services, Build system, Android Architecture, Android Subsystems.

Desired Skillset:

Some knowledge of common peripheral bus technologies including SPI, I2C, UART with focus on how Android interacts with these types of peripherals.
You have a good understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, Gerret
Embedded Software Development experience.

Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid work schedule – Onsite 2-3 times / week)
