Animal Rescue - Volunteer/Intern

Our rescue is in need of someone to assist with managing our weekend adoption center.

This role would involve:

Opening for Volunteers and assist with morning cleaning

Being present at the adoption center while it is open to the public

Answering any questions visitors may have

Educating them on how to properly care for domestic rabbits

Promoting our rescue outreach programs.

The ideal candidate should be available from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

We ask that the person filling this position commit to a minimum of 2-3 weekends per month.

Please note, the adoption center is closed for most holidays that fall on weekends.

We are open to all applicants, you must be over the age of 18. We are open to college students who want to bring their homework with them to the adoption center. Some weekends can be slow so bringing things to do while at the adoption center are more than welcome.

Since we are a small non-profit this is a volunteer position.

We do provide letters of recommendation as well as qualify for community service hours.
