Anja's is Hiring a Lunch Pantry Prep Cook located Downtown

We offer part time, 5 days a week, 12pm-4pm, Tuesday to Saturday.

Full time potentially available, depending experience and baking expertise.

It's a multi-tasking position with a lot of dynamic and includes the following:

1) Filling orders (dishes from the pantry such as soups, salads, sandwiches, etc. - and from the hotline such as pan-frying fresh fish, Schnitzel, chicken or reheating pasta, sides, etc.)

2) Prep work if not filling orders (cleaning and cutting fresh and dry ingredients, making sauces and soups, preparing pantry items, etc.)

3) In team work, help with dish washing.

4) In team work, brake down and clean all stations, including front of the house.

Anja's is a small place serving organic, fresh and healthy food, along with a small German beer and wine selection.

One year after opening, Anjs's is being visited by very friendly and dedicated regulars. (As we have been for 14 years at our former restaurant Gaumenkitzel in West Berkeley.)
