Title: API Developer Location: San, Jose, CA(100% Remote for a right candidate)Duration: 6 months contract with high possibility of extension.

Architecting, Designing and Building an API Platform architecture for all of IT to use for Automation. The goal is to build an API first architecture for the platform, backend with a scalable Enterprise Integration Platform. The Integration Developer is responsible for design, delivery, and support of interfaces between ERP (SAP), SalesForce, SaaS, Workday, 3rd party vendors, OEM/SCM partners, banking and other heterogenous systems that combine functional business processes with technical message based integration tools. You'll bring your strong understanding of SAP integration services (CPI-S/SAP PO) and MuleSoft/API within the Enterprise Integration Landscape. This position is involved in all phases of the life cycle across all integrations supported by the team, including blueprinting, mapping, development, configuration, testing, go-live, and production support. The complexity of interfaces will vary and it is expected all solutions need to scale and be highly reliable.

As a Senior MuleSoft Consultant, you will help architecting solutions on MuleSoft, building applications at scale, and developing integration for large set of A2A & B2B application and be part of M&A activities. You use Agile methodologies to design and develop back end using our software stack to improve speed & agility among integrated application environment as well build the foundation for API/Microservices-led development strategy. You are comfortable working on sophisticated & heterogeneous integration landscape inside organization while you also with numbers of geo-located customers & vendors. What you ll be doing: Architect solutions to complex business processes for Operations, Order-to-Cash process, Finance, Planning, Procurement, HR systems, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS to name a few and large data migration using tools such as MuleSoft Build applications with core design principles of scalability, maintainability, security, and standard coding practices. Build, deploy, monitor, and tune MuleSoft artifacts on CloudHub, set-up AnypointVPC s and Dedicated Load Balancers. Create Rest based secure and reusable APIs. Apply API level security for data at-rest and in-transit over the network. Improve overall system performance by increasing throughput and reducing turn-around time. Support existing Mule applications, analyze, and debug recurrent issues. Document technical process flows with detailed technical specifications. Design comprehensive error handling and fault tolerance. Develop automated test routines and perform unit, system and functional testing. Work to business deadlines, follow standard methodologies and ensure high accuracy in working with the data.

What we need to see: Bachelor s/Master s degree and MuleSoft Certified Professional/Architect or equivalent experience 7+years of experience in the enterprise application domain Designed and develop Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) concepts including REST-ful and SOAP-based services Designed and developed enterprise services using RAML and REST based APIs Experienced in both Agile and waterfall methodologies Experience with design, development and deployment of SOA based architecture for a large organization leveraging multiple COTS Business applications is preferred Experience with Tomcat, XML, JMS, XSLT, WS-, SOA/Integration, and API Management technologies and standards Experience with using a JAVA IDE(Eclipse, Intelli J, Netbeans) Experience with common web connectivity and integration standards/protocols such as XML, SOAP, REST, JSON and JDBC Programming Languages: Java, J2EE, EJB, JSP, XML, Java Mail, JNDI, SOA, servlets, Struts, J2EE pattern Proficient in writing multi-threaded processes using MuleSoft APIs, Mule batch jobs and Mule flows with Anypoint Platform using Mule Runtime version 3.9 and 4. Knowledge/Experience with other integration tools Solid experience with API Developer portal, API Gateways and able to cross-connect APIs from different systems such as Active Directory, Sailpoint, ServiceNow, Coupa, Concur, VM provisioning systems etc Experience securing and managing APIs via API Manager Experience with the entire API development lifecycle from design & build to governance& management
