API Developer

ExperienceThis Classification must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in electronic data processing systems study, design, and programming. At least three (3) years of that experience must have been in a lead capacity.EducationThis classification requires the possession of a bachelor’s degree in an IT-related or Engineering field. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.Mandatory Qualifications:1. A minimum of five (5) years of experience testing and managing implementation of technical interfaces between computer systems that exchange and consume each other's data. 2. A minimum of two (2) years of experience in implementing technical interfaces between systems such as Application Programming Interface (APIs) or web services. 3. A minimum of two (2) years of experience providing testing and creating or managing requirements and standards documentation.Desirable Qualifications:4. A minimum of two (2) years of experience using requirement management tools such as IBM Doors, Jira, Azure DevOps. 5. A minimum of three (3) years of Project Management and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) experience.6. A minimum of five (5) years of experience testing methodologies similar to the Software Test Management Body of Knowledge and tools like Selenium and robotic process automation. 7. Current certification in Lean Six Sigma or an equivalent.
