• Establishes overall systems architecture vision and ensures specific components are appropriately designed and leveraged; contributes to the holistic vision of Enterprise Architecture.
• Defines architecture standards and anticipate areas where architecture standards may need to be developed that are in-line with customer, IT and industry standards.
• Directs the construction of architecture components (e.g., data architecture, application architecture, technical architecture).
• Works with business units to translate business strategy into discrete requirements compatible with current technical architectures.
• Defines systems, technical, and application architectures for new strategic initiatives; develops and maintains an architectural blueprint and evolutionary roadmap that defines and communicates the strategic direction for these architectures in support of business and technical strategies.
• Explains how the roadmap maintains and delivers cost effectiveness, business value, and competitiveness.
• Review Designs internally and with Architecture Council.
• Contribute to Development activities of the Development Teams in Architecture, Infrastructure, Design, Implementation, Testing and life cycle management.

• At least 8 years of work experience at an architect level.
• Hands-on extensive experience in Enterprise Integrations, micro services, API, AWS Cloud Solutions, Java, Kafka, App Dynamics, API Gateway, Relational and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL), Splunk.
• Understanding of concepts such as: domain driven design, high availability engineering, containerization, server less computing, elastic scalability, high performance RDBMS/NoSQL, MongoDB, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Implementation or working experience of Continuous Integration and Continues Delivery using tools and automation capabilities such as GitLab, JUnit, Mocking, TestNG, Jenkins, Stash, Swagger and Jira
• Evangelize, design and deliver cloud solutions aligned to business and IT requirements
• Experience in Agile development, application design, software development, and testing ensuring code quality, code coverage
• Collaborative work ethics to thrive on peer support and taking pride in of products and capabilities delivered as a team
• Ability to balance priorities and break down complex problems to manageable chunks that can be delivered incrementally
• Work across the organization to educate, collaborate and facilitate adoption of cloud concepts
• Guide implementation teams to successful delivery, using industry best practices, patterns and principles
• Serve as field guide and champion of Agile software delivery methods
• Lead the adoption of modern DevOps principles and practices
• Understanding of a wide variety of both legacy and modern cloud integration technologies
• Track record of leading and inspiring mixed-skill teams of 5-8
• Knowledge in In-memory computing and caching (ElastiCache - Redis)
• Experience with logging, performance and monitoring tools e.g. Splunk, Data Dog, and AWS Cloud Watch, App Dynamics.
