AS400 Administrator Rocklin CA (Onsite Day 1) Contract

• Good knowledge in iSeries/AS400 Administration of IBM i computer hardware and software
• Provide cross-training for other team members in the use of IBM i administrative tasks Installation, configuration and maintenance of IBM i hardware, software, networked devices, journaling, and IBM i Access software. Develop, document, and maintain procedures for system utilities such as BRMS (backup/restore), performance tuning and configuration of environments as required.

• Load and test operating system and application software releases in development/test and production environments
• load system software patches Document and implement application-specific security groups Provide support of IBM i 3rd Party Apps Assist with Tier1 user requests IBM i and ERP Application
• Assist in building IBM i LPARS as needed based on project requirements
• Manage IBM i PTF processing including validation plans on production and non-production systems May serve on additional technology teams as required
