Assistant Controller

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Assistant Controller in the non-profit industry located in Los Angeles, California. The chosen candidate will be tasked with the responsibility of carrying out various accounting duties, including closing the books and producing financial statements. Responsibilities: Oversee the process of closing the books in a timely and accurate manner. Produce comprehensive and accurate financial statements. Guide and review the work performed by staff to ensure accuracy and completeness. Maintain an advanced proficiency in Excel to manage and manipulate financial data effectively. Utilize NetSuite for various accounting functions and data management. Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to ensure all financial data is up-to-date. Execute month-end close procedures and make necessary adjustments. Prepare Financial Statements to provide accurate insights into the financial health of the organization.
