Our Cultural District is a unique destination, where you will find an abundance of cultural resources, a creative spirit and a curiosity to discover.Summary:The Assistant Director of Engineering will help lead and support the maintenance staff and ensures that facilities and systems operate properly. Maintain the operation of the entire resort facility including the physical building structures, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, and related equipment in accordance with energy conservation and preventive maintenance programs. Ensuring the upkeep of guest areas to maintain an attractive property.This list is not all-encompassing and that daily work tasks may and can be altered to meet business needs.This is an annual salary position starting at $70,600.00-$106,000.00 .(Decisions regarding pay will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.)Qualifications:· Strong leadership skills able to effectively communicate with staff and peers· 5-7 years in a major resort, hospital, or building, including at least 4 years in a supervisory capacity.· Ability to obtain and/or maintain any government required licenses, certificates or permits.· Must be self-motivated and a problem solver.· Requires analyzing activities and/or information involving some original data manipulation or interpretation to arrive at logical conclusions.· Requires advanced knowledge of building management/engineering· Exceptional time management, detail and organizational skills.· Professional demeanor with exceptional verbal, written and electronic communication skills.Primary Location: US-CA-OceansideOrganization: The Seabird Ocean Resort and SpaPay Basis: YearlyJob Level: Full-timeJob: Engineering/Facility MaintenanceReq ID: OCE001092Hyatt is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer.
