Description We are seeking an Associate to join our team based in Placerville, California. The role primarily involves handling general civil litigation and will be an integral part of our team. The Associate will work closely with four partners in the office and will play a critical role in maintaining our commitment to excellence and professionalism.Responsibilities: Engage in all aspects of civil litigation including drafting motions and arguing them in court Participate in depositions and defend depositions as required Work closely with partners and other team members on various litigation cases Leverage civil litigation experience to handle complex cases Maintain a high level of professionalism and adhere to all company standards and procedures Continually update knowledge on relevant laws and regulations Collaborate with other attorneys in the team to ensure a coordinated approach to case management Utilize legal knowledge and experience to provide strategic counsel and advice Ensure all client interactions are handled with utmost professionalism and confidentiality. Requirements Must have a valid license to practice law A minimum of two years' experience in Civil Litigation Proven experience as a Litigation Attorney Demonstrated ability to draft and argue motions Experience in taking and defending depositions Strong knowledge of litigation processes and laws Excellent analytical skills combined with the ability to develop litigation strategies Strong communication and negotiation skills Ability to work independently and as a part of a team Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines High level of professionalism and ethical standards Willingness to continue learning and improving litigation skills.
