Essential FunctionsThe Associate Procurement Analyst performs entry-level professional assignments and follows established policies. This position requires some professional judgment and a limited use and/or application of basic supply chain principles, theories and concepts. A basic understanding of cost accounting principles is a plus for this individual in order to develop Price/Cost Analysis (P/CA) capabilities, support customer proposal activities and assist accounts payable as necessary.90% - Performs fundamental procurement activities including acquisition of materials, components and services at reasonable and competitive prices, which meet schedule, safety and quality standards. Creates case files and performs post purchase order administration (i.e. hardware follow-up, internal communication with program customers, receipt/stocking related effort).5% - Performs price/cost analysis.5% - Provides proposal support.RequirementsRequires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or an appropriate discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Requires U.S. Citizenship, U.S. Permanent Residency or other status as a U.S. Person. Must be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.Additional Requirements:

Must be capable to develop a high level of understanding in all business matters related to the position and have the ability to effectively interact with all levels of management, internal to the company and external to suppliers and customers, alike.

Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent knowledge and capability in the use MS Office suite.

Good problem resolution skills.

Ability and willingness to travel domestically.
