Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Event Manager to join our client's team in the Healthcare industry. The primary function of this role is to effectively coordinate and execute a variety of corporate events within the healthcare sector, utilizing a unique blend of skills including project management, sales, marketing, and customer service. This long term contract opportunity is fully remote with some travel involved. Responsibilities:

Oversee all stages of the event planning process, from concept design, budgeting, logistics coordination, through to marketing and onsite execution.

Tailor events to individuals within the healthcare industry, ensuring they align with our brand image, target audience, and company goals.

Secure relevant healthcare keynote speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors vital for the successful execution of the event.

Negotiate contracts with vendors and venues, ensuring quality service and cost-effectiveness.

Develop marketing materials and execute promotional activities that align with the healthcare industry's trends and needs.

Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, sponsors, and guests in the healthcare sector during the event cycle.

Carry out post-event evaluations to analyze the success of the event and find areas for improvement.

Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Public Relations, Healthcare Management, or a related field.

Proven experience as an event manager, preferably within a B2B environment in the healthcare industry.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to influence and engage with healthcare professionals.

Extensive understanding of the healthcare industry, with the ability to stay informed of the latest trends and advancements.

Superior vendor management skills, including negotiation and contracting.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce and event management software.

Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team with a solution-driven approach.

Willingness to travel as needed.
