Description We are offering an opportunity for an Attorney, specializing in Estates and Trusts, to join our team based in Monterey, California. This position plays a crucial role in drafting estate documents, trust administrations, and probate while maintaining excellent communication and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Draft and review estate documents ensuring their accuracy and legal validity. Administer trusts and handle related tasks effectively. Efficiently manage probate matters. Communicate effectively, handling frequent in-person or telephone calls with clients and team members. Act as a solution finder, addressing and resolving complex legal issues. Maintain excellent writing skills to produce well-crafted estate and trust documents in terms of content and form. Demonstrate initiative and the ability to learn quickly, while managing multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines. Work effectively in a team and independently, demonstrating a high level of autonomy and responsibility. Utilize Microsoft Office applications proficiently in daily tasks. Apply skills in 'Estate Planning', 'Probate & Estate Administration', and 'Licensed Attorney' effectively in work tasks.Requirements Must hold an active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction. A minimum of 3 years of experience in the legal field is required. Proficiency in Estate Planning and Probate & Estate Administration is mandatory. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong ability to research and understand legal and complex documents. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. High degree of professional ethics and integrity. Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite. Commitment to ongoing legal education.
