Description Robert Half is offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Attorney in San Mateo, California with one of our clients. This remote role involves extensive legal and compliance duties across various industries and requires a strong background in contract drafting and negotiation. Responsibilities: Establish and oversee legal departments and governance structures. Collaborate with foreign lawyers on complex English agreements. Manage contract drafting and negotiation processes. Handle commercial contracts, including SaaS, SOW, MA, indemnity, IP rights, Privacy, and limitation of liability. Use expertise in legal and compliance roles to ensure accurate and efficient work. Utilize skills in 3M, Adobe Acrobat, Case Management Software, Conveyancer, Document Management, Briefing, Civil Litigation, Claim Administration, Complaint Handling, and Consumer Electronics. Exhibit attention to detail, looking beyond the obvious in contracts and anticipating next steps/impacts. Adapt to potential evening calls due to time difference.Requirements Must possess a valid license to practice law A minimum of 10 years of experience as an Attorney/Lawyer Proficiency in using 3M Proficient in Adobe Acrobat Experience with Case Management Software Knowledge of Conveyancer software Excellent document management skills Proficient in briefing and case preparation Experience in Civil Litigation Proven ability in claim administration Demonstrated experience in complaint handling Familiarity with consumer electronics legal issues Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
