Audit & Assurance Pricing & Profitability Center of Excellence (CoE), SeniorThe Pricing & Profitability CoE sits within Deloitte's Audit & Assurance Leadership organization and reports to the Audit & Assurance CFO and COO. Members of the Pricing & Profitability CoE work closely with Audit & Assurance leaders to provide strategic thought leadership, pricing expertise, analytical tools, ownership of pricing & forecasting technologies (CP3 & Beacon), and data analysis to improve overall Audit & Assurance profitability and promote excellence in account-level pricing, profitability and operational practices.The Work You'll DoThis role will be focused on supporting and managing our IT pricing and forecasting systems (CP3 & Beacon) as well as data reporting and analysis out of those systems. Responsibilities include the following:
Assume the role of the business owner for pricing and forecasting tools. Propose system-based solutions to meet business requirements and convert these solutions into technical specifications that can be implemented by different ITS teams to elevate the functionality of these tools.
Own the day-to-day collaboration with the IT teams, overseeing the maintenance and development of the tools, as well as becoming the main point of contact with other stakeholders and the Audit & Assurance practice, to drive effective utilization of the systems
Develop a comprehensive understanding of the systems and their inputs and outputs, and utilize the knowledge to assist in the development of complex financial models, and present results to leadership
Other responsibilities include:
Analyze client engagement financial data, including pricing and forecasting results (EAC), external pricing and marketplace trends, and other regular and ad-hoc reporting
Develop and execute analytics solutions that deliver meaningful insights to Audit & Assurance leadership
Apply strategic thinking and skills to identify opportunities to automate, design, and implement the solutions
Lead the creation of executive-level reports in various platforms (e.g., PPT, Tableau, Power BI, etc.) and other deliverables, which are typically high-profile and in support of financial and operational performance improvement and initiatives.
Interact with senior leaders across the firm to form and execute analyses, and prepare clear, concise, high-quality content
QualificationsRequired:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, Information System Management, Data Analytics/Science or related subject
2+ years of experience in an accounting, corporate finance, or operations role
Proven record of project execution with minimal guidance
Understands engagement economics and financial and operational metrics/KPIs (key performance indicators) used by professional services firms
Experienced in the software/application development process, particularly in the design and testing phases of the development life cycle
Must possess a solid grasp of general application logic and exhibit a creative mindset to quickly digest new concepts
Proficient at translating business processes into technical language
Must have strong data analytics and critical thinking experience to drive CoE analytics and reporting, along with the ability to challenge the status quo and identify new analytic opportunities
Expertise in Excel and/or SQL for financial analytics and data modeling
Must have experience with PowerPoint for creation of executive-level presentations and the ability to effectively use other common software, such as Word, in completion of work.
Must have clear, concise verbal and written communication skills
Must have the ability to work on multiple projects, develop timelines, and manage to strict deadlines
Must possess a client-service mindset and a desire to take on tough and challenging projects.
Outstanding research, analytical, and quantitative aptitude, as well as advanced attention to detail, are required for success in this role.
Must possess a flexible work style and strong commitment to meeting deadlines
Must be able to work effectively, with minimal day-to-day supervision, and within a primarily remote team environment to significantly contribute to the success of the team.

CPA certification
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $72,900 to $149,700.
