Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Autobody Paint Prepper to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has experience in prepping vehicles for paint with attention to detail, pride in workmanship, and a desire to grow within the collision repair industry.

Responsibilities:

Prepare vehicles for paint, including sanding, masking, priming, blocking, feather-edging, and cleaning surfaces.

Mix and match materials according to paint specifications.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Inspect completed prep work to ensure high-quality standards.

Work collaboratively with painters and technicians to meet production timelines.

Follow all safety procedures and shop guidelines.

Qualifications:

5+ year experience in auto body paint prep preferred.

Strong understanding of sanding, masking, priming, blocking and surface preparation.

Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.

Attention to detail and pride in workmanship.

Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.

A positive attitude and works well as part of a team.

Valid driver’s license
