AutoCAD Draftsperson – Custom Cabinetry & Millwork

We are a mid-sized cabinet shop centrally located in Jack London specializing in custom cabinetry, furniture, and interior millwork. We are seeking an experienced AutoCAD drafting expert to join our team and contribute to challenging, high-end projects in a collaborative shop environment.

Our work ranges from small custom furniture pieces to large, complex cabinetry installations. We pride ourselves on exceptional quality and thoughtful design, serving a long-standing, stable clientele with a strong pipeline of projects already confirmed.

Employment:

- Hours: Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm

- Type: Full time, in-person with opportunity to work remotely on occasion

Responsibilities:

- Produce and revise detailed shop drawings using AutoCAD

- Collaborate with staff, vendors, and clients to develop and finalize designs

- Manage drawing changes and follow through with all details

- Work closely with shop floor personnel to resolve manufacturing concerns

- Support continuous product and process improvements across projects

Qualifications:

- Minimum 3 years of AutoCAD drafting experience

- Experience producing shop drawings for cabinetry built-ins is a MUST

- Strong understanding of cabinet construction as it relates to drawings

- Excellent communication and organizational skills

- Positive, professional demeanor

- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively

- Ability to work in office, M-F 6:00am to 2:30pm

- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance
