Own the product, be an integral expert to our sales team and use your technical expertise to be the liaison between the customer, sales and our factory to define industry-leading automation solutions. One of the largest manufacturers of cutting machine tools and a manufacturer of CNC-controlled Lathes and Milling machines. Products include machines, industrial services and software and energy solutions.

  • Identify customer's automation need and sales opportunities via multiple sales channels
  • Collect necessary information, make automation concept/layout and create the best solution
  • Work with automation pre-sale engineers to quote, define schedule, runoff criteria and write proposals
  • Work with Area Sales Manager (ASM) to present automation solution to our customers
  • Closely work with assigned project engineer to handover project after receiving order
  • Attend machine tool exhibition event to prompt Clients automation capabilities
  • Work independently finding leads and developing projects while remaining responsive to management requests
  • Visit, manage, and expand automation sales territory of existing customers
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

  • Engineering degree with experience in manufacturing automation technical sales
  • Capable to handle 3D modeling software for automation cell concept/layout design
  • Familiar with CNC machine tools, robotics, vision and various automation components
  • Strong communication skills including presentation and writing project proposals
  • Good project management skills and capable to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience in CNC machine tending automation and/or knowledge of ANSI/RIA robotics safety regulation is a plus

Work Environment

: General office environment will be experienced. There will be periodic exposure to manufacturing environments which may present hazards such as noise, electricity, chemicals, heavy equipment, and other automated and manual machinery.

Physical Demands

: Frequent: Traveling, operating a vehicle, sitting at desk, utilizing computers and phones, standing and walking Periodic: Repetitive foot, leg, hand, arm, shoulder, and torso movements Occasional: Bending, squatting, stooping, and reaching.
