RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare and bake a variety of breads and pastries according to established recipes and standards.

Monitor inventory of bread baking ingredients and ensure their availability for daily production.

Collaborate with the Head Baker and Chef to develop and refine recipes.

Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Adhere to portion control and presentation standards to ensure consistency in taste and appearance.

Assist in the development and implementation of new pastry menu items and seasonal specials.

Stay updated with current industry trends and techniques in pastry making.

Assist with the training and supervision of junior pastry staff as needed.

Follow all company policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure a safe and efficient work environment

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

Previous experience as a Baker or in a similar role within a culinary establishment.

Strong knowledge of baking and pastry techniques

Weekend availability required.

Proficiency in preparing a variety of pastries, desserts, and breads.

Creativity and attention to detail to create visually appealing and consistent products.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

A culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Never say, “NO”, ask for assistance.

PROMOTE SAFETY AND SECURITY

Never mention a guest’s name and room number in the same conversation.

Never give out a room number. Maintain guest privacy and confidentiality.

Always knock and announce your department before entering a guest room.

Know your property’s emergency procedures.

Protect the company’s property against damage or loss.

Report any unsafe working condition.
