Bartender - Specialty Restaurant (Full Time)

Description:Be part of our talented Food and Beverage team as Bartender - Specialty Restaurant at the Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort and Spa. Located in Greater Palm Springs, Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort & Spa is completing a property-wide renovation and up-branding from Regency to Grand. Set to debut in 2024, Grand Hyatt will feature 531 newly transformed luxury guestrooms, suites, casita-style villas, and two brand new Celebrity Chef (Angelo Sosa) food & beverage venues.Bartenders are responsible for providing libations and offering customized recommendations. The right person should be familiar with the latest in mixology, bar equipment, and sanitation standards, with a focus on maintaining an attractive bar. This position offers opportunity for casual conversation, creativity and allows for building on one's style and previous bartending experiences. Preferred candidates will have understanding of state and local serving guidelines. Responsibilities include:

Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant guests

Interact with guests, take orders and serve snacks and drinks

Assess guest's needs and preferences and make recommendations

Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails

Plan and present bar menu

Check guest identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age

Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies

Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience

Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Resume and proven working experience as a Bartender

Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks

Computer literacy

Knowledge of a second language is a plus

Positive attitude and excellent communication skills

Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean

Must be able to lift, pull, push moderate weight

Relevant training certificate
