Description We are seeking a dynamic, customer-oriented Bilingual Call Center Representative to join our multi-lingual customer service team. As a Bilingual Call Center Representative for our health insurance company, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers with inquiries related to open enrollment. Preference will be given to candidates who are fluent in any of these languages: Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean or Vietnamese in addition to English.Responsibilities:

Responding to customer inquiries about health insurance coverage, benefits, claim procedures and open enrollment, courteously and promptly.

Explaining complex insurance policies, procedures, and regulations in a simple and clear manner.

Assisting with application procedures and follow-ups related to enrollment.

Troubleshooting and resolving customer issues effectively.

Communicating and coordinating with internal departments to deliver customer-centric solutions.

Utilizing CRM systems to document customer interactions and solutions.

Meeting and exceeding set customer service standards and performance metrics.

Participating in the training sessions and team meetings as necessary.

Requirements

Job Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required. College degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.

Proficiency in Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean, or Vietnamese in addition to English is strongly required.

Prior experience in a call center or customer service role, preferably within the insurance industry.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

Knowledge of health insurance industry terms and procedures is a plus.

High level of empathetic listening to effectively serve customers and resolve customer issues.

Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and customer relationship management (CRM) software.

Must be available to work during the open enrollment period.

Adaptability and flexibility to work in changing environments.
